Simplified Behavioral Health provides applied behavior analysis (ABA) to change the lives of children with autism. Our team also contributes to the growth and development of the field of ABA through research and collaboration, as well as membership and affiliation with various industry organizations.

We are proud to be a member of the following organizations:

Autism Society of Alabama

The Autism Society’s mission is to improve services for persons with Autism Spectrum Disorders and their families through education and advocacy. ASA collaborates with various state and local agencies to increase awareness in the community, schools, and in the medical and professional arenas to promote education, understanding, resources, and to encourage the early diagnosis of autism. ASA maintains a website that provides up to date information and provides direct links to other important informational sites. Our website also acts as a source of support for families and parents of individuals with autism spectrum disorders. Family Camps are also available throughout the year for children and teens affected by ASD.

Behavior Analyst Certification Board

The Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB), is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) corporation established in 1998 to meet professional credentialing needs identified by behavior analysts, governments, and consumers of behavior analysis services. The mission of the BACB is to protect consumers of behavior analysis services worldwide by systematically establishing, promoting, and disseminating professional standards.

Association of Professional Behavior Analysts

APBA works to build cooperative relationships with other organizations in the field of behavior analysis as well as those in related fields. One of APBA’s major initiatives involves developing close and supportive relationships with national, regional, state, and provincial organizations serving professionals in applied behavior analysis. Another is collaborating with organizations representing consumers of applied behavior analysis services. Of course, ABAI is the field’s oldest organization, and APBA is committed to collaborating with ABAI in ways that serve the overlapping interests of the two organizations and their members.

Behavioral Health Center of Excellence

BHCOE Accreditation is a trusted source that recognizes behavioral health organizations committed to continuous quality improvement. BHCOE offers a third-party measurement system that differentiates and provides independent feedback on clinical quality indicators. The BHCOE criterion features standards that subject-matter experts developed to measure effective applied behavior analysis services. The Preliminary Accreditation audit process consists of an interview, document review and systems analysis. The Preliminary Accreditation can also be used by providers looking to prepare for full accreditation within the next year as a way to prepare for the larger survey.
